Following the record-breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home , Sony is continuing to build out its own Spider-Man Universe, which began with Tom Hardy's Venom in 2018. Set to follow Jared Leto's  Morbius,  and ahead of production on the studio's upcoming Madame Web , Sony's next spin-off is confirmed to be Spider-Man's Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.   Sony has yet to confirm if Spider-Man will play a role in the Spider-inspired spin-off, but  Kraven the Hunter  already has a stacked cast. Spider-Man: No Way Home  was not only one of the most successful films that Marvel and Sony Studios have put out, but it created one of the best theater experiences for audiences around the world. Seeing the likes of Alfred Molina and Willem Dafoe return or Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire walk out of those portals is something fans will never forget. Riding off the success of their most recent film, Sony is now looking ahead at what's next. There's a third  Venom  film in development, and Jared Leto's  Morbius  is just around the corner. Ahead of the theatrical release of Jared Leto's Morbius , and on the heels of Spider-Man: No Way Home , Sony has announced its next live-action film for its ever-expanding Spider-Verse: Kraven the Hunter . This Spidey villain is one that fans have wanted to see for some time; and for the title role, Sony went with a comic book film veteran in Aaron Taylor-Johnson.  In addition to his role in Kick-Ass , Aaron Taylor-Johnson's last Marvel role was as Wanda Maximoff's brother, Pietro/Quicksilver, in Marvel Studios' Avengers: Age of Ultron . Interestingly enough, Pietro served as a threat to the Avengers for a considerable part of that film.
