Moon Knight Director Confirms the Show Broke an MCU Filming Record

Image
Marvel Studios is only a few days away from kicking off its slate of Phase 4 content in 2022 with Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight , set to debut on Disney+. The MCU newcomer will be one of the franchise's most unique characters to date in a series that looks to make its own special mark on the growing narrative. Fans have already seen some of what filming delivered, and the reviews are quite favorable thus far. Filming for the series started nearly a year ago in Budapest, lasting for the better part of 2021 before post-production added the effects and post-production work needed for the supernatural story. Fans have already gotten a taste of just how wild this series will be thanks to material with Egyptian gods and a clip featuring demons coming out of the ground. ADVERTISEMENT Although Moon Knight experienced the same delays for filming that every other MCU project did, production went fairly smoothly for the show as it worked toward its early 2022 ...

Sebastian Stan Admits Avengers: Endgame Filming Was Troublesome

Image
Marvel Studios is well known for many different reasons. For one, there's the fact that it is the largest cinematic universe to ever exist, and it's something many studios have tried to replicate, yet no one has even come close; the DCEU has come the closest, but its execution is quite messy—just ask Zack Snyder fans. Something else synonymous with Marvel Studios? Secrecy. It's a a common joke around fans how Marvel Studios has snipers trained on its actors during interviews with the press, ready to pull the trigger if any secrets slip through their lips. Obviously, that's an exaggeration, but the company's commitment to keeping its secrets is admirable. ADVERTISEMENT It wouldn't even reveal that a  Black Widow  movie was happening, despite the project having already been filming for several weeks prior to its official announcement. Needless to say, it can get a little intense. Now, Sebastian Stan, the actor behind Bucky Barnes, ...

Iron Man's Disney+ Spin-off, Armor Wars, Receives Filming Update

Image
The MCU may be in a bit of a lull right now, but this short respite will be short-lived with  Moon Knight  kicking off another run of superpowered adventures at home on Disney+. Another more mysterious project in the streaming sphere is  Armor Wars.  The series is likely set to come sometime in 2023, but nothing has been 100% confirmed on the scheduling front.  Armor Wars  will take on the legacy of Robert Downey Jr.s Tony Stark, as Don Cheadle a.k.a. War Machine navigates through a post- Avengers: Endgame  MCU. Aside from a brief cameo in  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,  Cheadle has not appeared for Marvel Studios since  Endgame, so  fans are excited to see what Rhodey has been up to.  ADVERTISEMENT In the same way that  Hawkeye  and  Black Widow  were the first time long-standing MCU figures got their first solo project,  Armor Wars  looks to be that for James Rhodes/War Machine.  And even though the show is at least 18 months away, the project ha...
