My Revolution of PARTs

With only a few weeks left until its release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a film about which fans know frighteningly little. While Marvel has released multiple teasers, trailers, and posters for this Multiversal horror flick, the plot of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange 2 and its potential impact on the greater MCU is still a mystery.  What fans do know is that Strange is embarking on a Multiversal adventure where he will encounter multiple Stephen Stranges, and possibly the Illuminati, alongside Rachel McAdam's Christine Palmer, Xochitl Gomez' America Chavez, and Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff.  ADVERTISEMENT Due to the events of WandaVision on Disney+, and from what  Doctor Strange 2  promo spots have revealed, it appears that Wanda is anything but a background character in this upcoming sequel. And, now, in the midst of the film's last marketing push, a new report suggests the Scarlet Witch's on-scr...

While the Earth's Mightiest Heroes are still some time away from their fifth MCU team-up movie, Marvel Studios is bringing an Avengers-level event with next month's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . As Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen prepare to join forces as two of the strongest characters in the franchise, this next solo sequel will pit them against some major hurdles. As the film's May 6 release date inches closer, along with its ticket sales beginning one month earlier, Marvel is picking up speed with new promotional material coming to the public. Olsen's Scarlet Witch will play a pivotal role in helping to keep the Multiverse intact, teaming-up with surprising co-stars along the way and diving more into her full power as a heroine. ADVERTISEMENT One mystery that still lingers over Olsen's character through her journey since the end of Phase 3 is her place amongst the Avengers, who disbanded for the most part ...

Elizabeth Olsen made her debut as the Hydra-enslaved Wanda Maximoff in  Avengers: Age of Ultron  alongside her brother Pietro, aka Quicksilver, who didn't last too long. Despite quickly becoming among the most powerful, significant, and influential heroes in the MCU, it took almost six years for her to get a solo outing and to receive her comic alias, as  WandaVision  introduced the Scarlet Witch. After a series of reality-bending sitcom antics and what some may construe as villainy, Wanda made the transformation into the all-powerful Scarlet Witch in the  WandaVision  finale, allowing her to defeat Agatha Harkness and giving her a snazzy new outfit. ADVERTISEMENT But having introduced Wanda to a host of new powers, Harkness sent the magical Avenger down a dark path as she began to study the Darkhold, a dangerous book of powerful magic. This treacherous root appears to be the crux of  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where Wanda will retu...

WandaVision  launched the small screen era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+ in 2021, telling the post- Avengers: Endgame  story of Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff and, surprisingly, Paul Bettany's Vision. The Marvel series explored a unique format by blending a sitcom format with an emotional narrative centered around grief and mourning.   WandaVision premiered with overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans and critics, and this momentum carried over every week due to the show's consistent presentation of mysterious elements. As a result, fans took to social media to share their different theories about the series, thus fueling online discourse.  ADVERTISEMENT In addition to its intriguing narrative, the series also featured a stellar cast that included Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, and the surprise inclusion of Evan Peters as a random We...

After four new blockbuster movies from the MCU in 2021, Marvel Studios is set to kick off 2022 with arguably one of its biggest solo outings to date in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . As Benedict Cumberbatch's master magician joins forces with Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff, the two will have to face some of the most dangerous challenges in Phase 4's narrative to date. Although Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will take the brunt of the work in his second MCU solo movie, this full dip into the Multiverse will also see Olsen's Scarlet Witch exploring her exponentially increased power set. Wanda's full evolution into her powerful alter-ego in WandaVision set the stage for new levels of intense magic, which was only teased minimally in the film's first teaser from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home . ADVERTISEMENT Wanda's powers may be a more crucial element of her story in the Doctor Strange sequel, but they al...

2021 was a big year for Marvel Studios and the superhero genre, which all started in January with the debut of a new streaming show called WandaVision on Disney+ starring Elizabeth Olsen — a first foray for the Marvel film factory. The limited series followed Wanda Maximoff as she became the Scarlet Witch, which was a transformation with huge MCU implications. However, WandaVision was released to the world almost a whole year ago, and fans have yet to see those ramifications seep into the greater MCU.  ADVERTISEMENT But with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  having just released its first teaser trailer with Wanda Maximoff as a major focal point, Marvel Studios seems keen on reminding fans who the big power players will be in the MCU.  Now, Marvel has taken things one step further to celebrate what last year brought while also making sure fans know what to expect going forward.  Scarlet Witch Gets a Funko Glow-Up  Funko One year after t...
