2021 was a big year for Captain America and the legacy of his shield. With Steve Rogers gone, the mantle he held became mishandled. Sam Wilson originally felt that it wasn't his place to take it up, so the iconography and responsibilities of the title instead went to former military-man John Walker; needless to say, it didn't go well. At the end of the day, Wilson made his amends and became the new Cap of the MCU. One of the details that make Anthony Mackie's Captain America different from Chris Evans' is how he incorporated his wingsuit into his new look.
