This April marks one year since Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson took up the Captain America mantle in the series finale of  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier . On the same day that Mackie was first seen donning the iconic Stars and Stripes, Captain America 4  was revealed to be in development for the big screen, with Disney+ showrunner Malcolm Spellman returning to pen the script. Unlike its potential companion Disney+ series, Secret Invasion , production on  The Marvels  has been kept under wraps, aside from some set photos leaking showing off a new costume for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan. Outside of that costume, fans know little about the Captain Marvel sequel, but there was one small role that potentially leaked.  Last year, One Take News reported that Marvel Studios was looking for an actor in their early 30s to early 50s to play the role of  "Scientist Friend," who the outlet believed would appear in  The Marvels . Iman Vellani's MCU debut as Kamala Khan is just around the corner, as the Ms. Marvel  official trailer has been released by Disney+ and Marvel Studios. This coming-of-age story welcomes a fresh face to Marvel's universe of heroes and promises to tell a small story with cosmic power. Ms. Marvel will be Marvel Studios' seventh television show to stream on Disney+. It is set to premiere on June 8, roughly a month after Oscar Isaac's  Moon Knight will air its final episode. Can a Captain America movie succeed without Chris Evans? Well, fans are about to find out. Fans may have been a little spoiled thanks to the movies like Tom Holland's  Spider-Man: No Way Home and Benedict Cumberbatch's  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . While Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion still doesn't have a release date for Marvel Studios, it continues to make headlines as one of the MCU's most anticipated streaming outings. The Disney+ show recently had its first round of photos via a set leak, which came to light at the turn of the new year. With Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos back together, the MCU is about to take its storytelling up a notch. The second trailer for Marvel Studios'  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  likely has fans wishing they could use the Time Stone to transport themselves to the film's May 2022 release date. While Marvel Studios has a massive year of content planned for 2022, 2023 isn't slouching either, even with the schedule not being as full at the moment. Moon Knight  is set to introduce a host of new heroes and villains into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is Marvel Studios' first small-screen project in 2022, and it will feature the debut of Oscar Isaac as the titular vigilante. Marvel Studios is hard at work on post-production for the next chapter in the Thor franchise:  Thor: Love and Thunder . The film series underwent a bit of a creative revamp in 2017's  Thor: Ragnarok,  which injected a bit more humor, by the hand of director, Taika Waititi.  Love and Thunder  will reunite most of the cast members from  Ragnarok  and with Waititi at the helm yet again, fans are likely in for a wild ride. Eternals  is filled with notable connections to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film introduced a plethora of new and interesting characters to the franchise while also telling a story that spanned millennia.
