Can a Captain America movie succeed without Chris Evans? Well, fans are about to find out. After taking up the Cap mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , it was announced that Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson would star in  Captain America 4.  But many have come to wonder if Sebastian Stan (aka Bucky Barnes) will make an appearance in the upcoming sequel.  Nothing has been officially confirmed on the Stan front; however, Sam and Bucky have become quite close after the events of their Disney+ series.  Captain America 4  is being penned in part by  Falcon and Winter Soldier  scribe Malcolm Spellman, so all signs are pointing to the heroic pair reuniting on screen.  ADVERTISEMENT And it is not as if Stan doesn't want to be in the film. The biggest aspect of Marvel Studios'  Spider-Man: No Way Home  was undoubtedly the teaming up of three generations of Spider-Man. Seeing Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland share the screen was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Due to Maguire and Garfield's comebacks, fans are crying out for the Spider-Man franchise to continue far beyond the three confirmed solo movies planned out for Holland's MCU hero. Within days of No Way Home debuting in theaters, fan campaigns for both Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Maguire's Spider-Man 4 surfaced online as bellows for both franchise's revivals increased to a fever pitch.
