My Revolution of PARTs

While Marvel Studios has an increasingly bright future ahead with Phase 4 of the MCU, there's always an opportunity to look back on the franchise's past to celebrate what came in the Infinity Saga. Fans do this by watching past Avengers team-up films and other solo outings on Disney+ while also looking out for exciting collectible items like Funko Pop! figures to add to their memorabilia collections. The more recent Funkos have primarily focused on upcoming Phase 4 projects, including figurines for Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . Funko Fair 2022 also announced plans for a unique set paying tribute to an iconic moment in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War , which brought the Guardians of the Galaxy into play next to Earth's Mightiest Heroes. ADVERTISEMENT Specifically, fans got a look at a Funko diorama set that brought all six Guardians together to replicate their fir...

Marvel Studios is now halfway through its first season of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight , which took its deepest dive yet into the MCU’s take on ancient Egyptian mythology in its recent third episode. Focusing largely on the Moon God Khonshu and his dicey relationship with Egypt’s other Gods, Marc Spector learned just how little he knew about his Moon Knight situation as he embraced the wild adventure in front of him. With Marvel's sixth Disney+ series now moving full steam ahead toward the second half of its season, Marc and Khonshu's relationship becomes even more of a driving force behind the plot, particularly after Episode 3.  ADVERTISEMENT While Marc is unquestionably the focus of the Moon Knight series, as he should be, Khonshu's role is as important as anybody's in the leading character's path toward becoming a hero. Now, to celebrate his place in the story, the Moon God has been immortalized in his own collectible figurine - th...

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is right around the corner, and promotion for the film has finally reached its peak. Fans are seeing new bits of footage almost every week leading up to the film’s May 6 release, and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is being positioned as the most powerful character in the highly anticipated superhero flick.   Fans found out from new promotional footage that Wanda Maximoff will be tearing apart some Ultron bots and blocking a version of Captain Marvel's powers with ease, so she’s clearly going to be a force to be reckoned with in Doctor Strange 2 .  ADVERTISEMENT Audiences that loved WandaVision  are sure to show up in droves to see the Scarlet Witch’s story continue in Multiverse of Madness . On top of Wanda's place in promo material, a new toy leak seems to promise that the movie will indeed give the Maximoff twin the attention she deserves.  Doctor Strange 2 Adds Another Scarlet Witch Pop  Marvel A...

Marvel Studios has a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, particularly with the upcoming theatrical release for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . Ahead of this film, Marvel and Funko have released their next round of Pops! to celebrate the rookie and veteran heroes joining forces in this story.  However, not all the response to these Funkos has been of the positive variety. ADVERTISEMENT Xochitl Gomez is set to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as the Multiverse-jumping heroine America Chavez, and she has as big of a role as anybody alongside Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff. This made her unquestionably deserving of getting her own Funko, but upon its arrival, its appearance incited some major backlash from Marvel fans. Specifically, the complaints pointed out that Chavez's skin was much lighter in color than her on-screen actress in Gomez, with the fan base calling Funko and its developers out for whitewashing. Thankfull...

In 2021, Marvel Studios and Disney broke onto the streaming world with a new slate of entries on Disney+, including WandaVision , The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , Loki , What If...? , and Hawkeye . All these shows introduced both old and new faces as what could arguably be the franchise's next roster of heroes. But now, a whole new wave is approaching as Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight inches closer to its debut. At the same time, Marvel hasn't slowed down its merchandising roll either. Each of the aforementioned Disney+ shows came with a wide array of merchandise for fans to collect, including the ever-so-popular Funko Pops!. ADVERTISEMENT For instance, WandaVision debuted a figurine of the Scarlet Witch reading the Darkhold in the air while What If...? saw Killmonger taking over Infinity Ultron's armor hit shelves. Now, as 2022 chugs along and a new batch of Disney+ shows gear up to hit the streaming service, another look back on some ...

The Avengers  may have hit theaters a decade ago in 2012, but its impact is still affecting the MCU to this day. The film proved that comic book movies could work with not only one or two superheroes in the spotlight but six. While many fans highly regarded it as one of the major milestones in the superhero world, its success also translated to the box office, where it was the first Marvel movie to cross the $1.5 billion mark during its run in theaters. All six members of the original Avengers team went on to have a decorated MCU career. Each character has gone on to play a major role in the entirety of the Infinity Saga, with characters like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow even sacrificing themselves for the greater good. ADVERTISEMENT Another character from  The Avengers  that kept making his presence felt throughout different points in the MCU was the movie's villain, Loki. The God of Mischief, portrayed b...

Being both a collector and Marvel fan are two things that go together perfectly, like peanut butter and jelly. The superhero IP is a consistent source of new items to collect, and with Marvel Studios showing no signs of slowing down, that doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon. People have quite the selection, whether it's statues, Hot Toys, or collectible Funkos. One example of this is Sideshow's newly announced Black Panther statue, which was released to celebrate the fourth anniversary of  Black Panther 's release back in 2018. ADVERTISEMENT Another are the recently announced Hot Toys that depict both Alfred Molina's Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin from  Spider-Man: No Way Home . While expensive, both show a unmatched level of detail and may never grow old on one's shelf. The most extensive sub-section of collecting is arguably held by Funko. Their little figures with tiny bodies and big heads have been a stapl...

2021 was a big year for Marvel Studios and the superhero genre, which all started in January with the debut of a new streaming show called WandaVision on Disney+ starring Elizabeth Olsen — a first foray for the Marvel film factory. The limited series followed Wanda Maximoff as she became the Scarlet Witch, which was a transformation with huge MCU implications. However, WandaVision was released to the world almost a whole year ago, and fans have yet to see those ramifications seep into the greater MCU.  ADVERTISEMENT But with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  having just released its first teaser trailer with Wanda Maximoff as a major focal point, Marvel Studios seems keen on reminding fans who the big power players will be in the MCU.  Now, Marvel has taken things one step further to celebrate what last year brought while also making sure fans know what to expect going forward.  Scarlet Witch Gets a Funko Glow-Up  Funko One year after t...
