Titans  is yet another entry in a long line of DC Comics television series based in Batman's world, and another without the Caped Crusader in the spotlight. This includes shows like Fox's  Gotham , CW's  Batwoman , which is still airing, and the future holds a second show about the infamous city on HBO Max - this time in the world set in Matt Reeves'  The Batman . To Titans ' credit, it's not afraid—or is at least allowed by Warner Bros.—to tackle some big-time comic characters and stories. Beyond being the culmination of the NFL season, the Super Bowl is a golden opportunity for Hollywood to advertise its most-anticipated upcoming films to the largest television audience of the year. Professional football's grandest stage has been the most sought after promotional day for decades, and many studios fast-track their marketing campaigns to ensure their blockbusters' first looks are seen by the all-but-guaranteed nine-figure viewership.
