After a decade of playing the MCU's Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. hasn't slowed down following his exit from the Marvel franchise in 2019's Avengers: Endgame . In addition to producing projects like Netflix's Sweet Tooth and Warner Bros.' Perry Mason , the Iron Man actor also starred in 2020's Dolittle and was recently cast in Christopher Nolan's star-studded 2023 film,  Oppenheimer .  Still, the Marvel star hasn't forgotten his past successes. Sony Pictures is in quite an interesting position with its superhero projects, both in an out of their Spider-Man Universe. The company's latest team-up with Marvel Studios in Spider-Man: No Way Home became the hit movie of 2021 as it makes its way toward its home release on digital and physical media. Now, Sony is preparing to bring Morbius to theaters, the second solo franchise after Tom Hardy's Venom  and its sequel. Morbius is finally ready to make its theatrical debut after an almost unprecedented 18+ month delay to its release, much of it due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic. These troubles come on top of recent struggles with reception, as many early screenings haven't yielded great results, although Sony remains optimistic for its prospects. Almost nobody has more influence on the modern world of superhero and sci-fi movies than writer/director/actor/CGI master Andy Serkis. Currently, he's all set for his next acting role as Alfred Pennyworth in Warner Bros.' The Batman , which is about to debut in theaters worldwide. He also has plenty of credits on the Marvel side too with two live-action acting credits in the MCU and a directing credit from 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage . The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Gamora: Daughter of Thanos, sister of Nebula and founding member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Indeed, Gamora's path through the MCU has been an eventful one. First introduced in 2014's  Guardians of the Galaxy , the character's arc is set to come to its conclusion in 2023's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,  currently in production with James Gunn at the helm. Devotees will surely be aware that Gamora was sacrificed by her adoptive father, the Mad Titan Thanos so that he could secure the mysterious and powerful Soul Stone during the events of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War .
