To this day,  WandaVision  is still arguably the most successful Disney+ series that Marvel Studios has put out. The show follows Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda as she becomes overwhelmed with grief, leading to the imprisonment of an entire town of unwilling participants in her new false reality of Westview. While the birth of Scarlet Witch gets most of the attention now, likely fueled by the upcoming release of  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , there's someone else who tends to get lost in the conversation: Vision. Throughout the build-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home , much of the discussion surrounded which classic heroes and villains would be reprising their roles. With  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  right around the corner, history certainly appears to be repeating itself as fans speculate who may be joining Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer for his latest adventure.  The latest trailer revealed plenty from the highly-anticipated sequel including villainous hints for Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, an appearance from Patrick Stewart's Professor X, and even a Captain Marvel Variant. But given Marvel's history of secrecy and cryptic marketing, fans are naturally assuming this is just the tip of the iceberg. 2021 was the year of brand new heroes. First, WandaVision came along and introduced the world to Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau before The   Falcon and the Winter Soldier paved the way for a new Falcon in Joaquin Torres. Loki brought both Kid Loki and Sylvie into the picture, and Black Widow invited Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova along for the ride. It wasn’t until Hawkeye , however, that the biggest of the bunch landed: Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. The final MCU series of the year showed the new hero getting into a mess revolving around a murder mystery and Clint Barton’s former Ronin costume. The result was a fun, action-filled adventure that saw Jeremy Renner’s original Avenger team up with the newbie to save Christmas—or so to speak.
