While it’s still over a year away, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 remains one of the most anticipated Marvel Studios films. It was originally supposed to release years ago, but due to director James Gunn’s brief Disney exile and the worldwide current pandemic, it won't be seen until 2023. There’s been lots of speculation as to what fans will be able to expect. For one, rumors heavily suggest the villain will be the High Evolutionary, played by Peacemaker ’s Chukwudi Iwuji. Marvel Studios' Phase 4 has introduced fans to a number of new characters, such as the Eternals, Shang-Chi, Yelena Belova, and Kate Bishop; and while that trend looks to continue, the MCU isn't quite done with regulars like James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy .
