While the MCU awaits its return to Phase 4 storytelling with Moon Knight and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , Disney+ now hosts another extensive group of Marvel-centric content to enjoy. This comes in the form of more than half a dozen series produced under Marvel Television that formerly aired on Netflix and ABC before Marvel Studios took on its own Disney+ shows. The canonicity of these series is still largely a mystery in relation to the larger MCU, but their popularity remains high as they all come together on the same streaming home. Also arriving are new categories for the Netflix shows on the site, and while there are some funny promotional changes, the series are already making the rounds for viewers both new and old. While Marvel Studios is nearly ready to restart its Phase 4 slate, Disney+ is bringing its own exciting Marvel developments as well. Namely, the streaming service just added past Marvel TV shows such as Agents of SHIELD and all six shows that compromised the Defenders series that first debuted on Netflix. Naturally, this is cause for celebration on multiple levels. This move places every Marvel show that could possibly connect to the MCU in one location, all while Marvel Studios brings characters from these shows into the core MCU story. How that connectivity plays out in the future is still anybody's guess, but for now, the shows have their own special place on Disney+ alongside their counterparts from more recent entries in Phases 1-4. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has easily become one of the most loved heroes in all of pop culture. His casting in Captain America: Civil War was a big win for Marvel Studios and was arguably one of the best decisions it could have made. Now, that move has led to Marvel Studios and Sony creating yet another record-shattering film with Spider-Man: No Way Home . That’s not to say his previous movies were any less. At the very beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's cosmic history, there were six singularities imbued with immense power. These singularities would come to be known as the Infinity Stones, with each imbued with different abilities. The Mad Titan Thanos collected the Space, Time, Soul, Reality, Mind and Power Stones one by one during the events of  Avengers: Infinity War,  and when he had all of them, with a snap of his fingers, he eliminated half of all living beings in the universe. Spider-Man: No Way Home  is a massive achievement, opening up the MCU to include characters from across the Multiverse. Bringing back characters from franchises past, the movie includes both Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's incarnations of the titular web-slinger, alongside some of their fearsome foes, like Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx's Electro.  While fans clearly appreciated the film's multiverse-spanning stakes, propelling it to over a billion dollars at the box office,  No Way Home  was also received warmly by critics. Sony has been pushing for critical acknowledgment with a recent awards campaign, but a recent mistake will keep the film from being eligible at the BAFTAs.
