Moon Knight has been twisting and turning for a number of weeks, but no episode swerved more than the fourth episode of the Disney+ show. Episode 4 ended on a major bombshell, placing Marc Spector and Steven Grant in a mental institution before having them run into… a hippo goddess? With only a few unseen bits of footage and a baffling ending to go off of, it's safe to say that many fans had no clue what to expect going into the fifth chapter of  Moon Knight 's story. As great as  Spider-Man: No Way Home  was, there's another Spidey Multiverse movie that ranks among some of the best films ever for many fans:  Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . Marvel Studios' Moon Knight quickly approaches the end of its wild run on Disney+, putting Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector into the MCU spotlight for the first time in Phase 4. Moon Knight delivered an in-depth look at the lore of the Egyptian gods of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the third episode giving viewers an understanding of the Ennead, their backstory, and why they chose to abandon humans. During the installment, five avatars of the gods were featured, namely  Horus, Isis, Tefnut, Osiris, and Hathor.  The Ennead was involved in several significant moments in Episode 3. On Disney+ Day 2021, Marvel Studios released the first look at  Moon Knight , which showed off Oscar Isaac's controversial accent for Steven Grant and the caped hero pumbling something supernatural in a bathroom. On further inspection of the sizzle reel, fans noticed this same creeping villain seemingly stalking Grant in a museum. Fans debated whether this creature was a werewolf drawn to Grant or some servant of a rival Egyptian god to Khonshu, such as Anubis, the jackal-headed and Egyptian god of the dead. Following the record-breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home , Sony is continuing to build out its own Spider-Man Universe, which began with Tom Hardy's Venom in 2018. Set to follow Jared Leto's  Morbius,  and ahead of production on the studio's upcoming Madame Web , Sony's next spin-off is confirmed to be Spider-Man's Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.   Sony has yet to confirm if Spider-Man will play a role in the Spider-inspired spin-off, but  Kraven the Hunter  already has a stacked cast. Baby Groot Comes to Disney+ During Disney's Annual Shareholder's Meeting, Marvel Studios revealed a brief new look at Baby Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Groot is primarily in his infant state during 2017's  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 . This particular shot wasn't in any movie featuring the youngest Guardian, making it likely to be promotional material from Disney+'s upcoming  I Am Groot , expected to arrive later in 2022.
