Marvel Studios has worked hard to prove its commitment to the inclusion of characters that represent all walks of life, especially people of color and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. On the LGBTQIA+ front, from Phastos in  Eternals  to Loki and Sylvie in  Loki , Marvel has taken major steps toward making the world in the MCU look more like the world around us.   The heavily anticipated  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  will be no exception, either. NEW DELHI: The world is celebrating the annual Earth Day today to promote global awareness about environmental protection and conservation. Google too dedicated a doodle on the occasion addressing one of the most pressing topics of the time: Climate change. Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. The search engine has created a series of animations of four locations to show how climate change has impacted our planet. The Sun on Wednesday unleashed a massive solar flare that has the potential to impact satellite communications and global positioning systems, the Centre of Excellence in Space Sciences India (CESSI) said. This flare is classified as an X-Class, which denotes the most intense flare. The X2.2 class solar flare eruption took place at 3:57 UTC (9.27 IST) from the solar magnetic active region AR12992. “It erupted from a region beyond the southwest limb of the Sun,” according to US space weather forecasting site NOAA Space Weather. “Strong ionospheric perturbation is ongoing over India, South East Asia and the Asia-Pacific regions. Expected high frequency communication blackouts, satellite anomalies, GPS scintillations, and airline communication impacts,” the CESSI said on Twitter. While Thanos and the Infinity Stones were the overarching threat throughout Marvel Studio's Infinity Saga, the MCU has entered a new phase where the menace appears to be the Multiverse and who comes with it. After educating audiences on the Multiverse via Disney+ series like WandaVision, Loki , and What If...? , the MCU brought the Multiverse to the big-screen in Spider-Man: No Way Home, courtesy of cameos from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's former web-slingers, and their villains. Upon the completion of Marvel's Infinity Saga, it seemed that the Multiverse was the MCU's next big threat, affecting characters from Loki to Wanda Maximoff to Peter Parker and Doctor Strange. While that appears to be true, one of Marvel's latest Phase 4 films, Eternals , didn't seem to contribute to the greater MCU or the current phase's overarching story at all. However, according to Eternals ' creators, it absolutely will.  Now,  Eternals was a unique and ambitious film from the start. The majority of MCU Phase 4 projects have largely stood on their own, at least alongside the other post- Avengers: Endgame  content that has been released from Marvel Studios.
