Captain Marvel 2 Casting Spoils Kree Scientist Role
Unlike its potential companion Disney+ series, Secret Invasion , production on The Marvels has been kept under wraps, aside from some set photos leaking showing off a new costume for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan. Outside of that costume, fans know little about the Captain Marvel sequel, but there was one small role that potentially leaked. Last year, One Take News reported that Marvel Studios was looking for an actor in their early 30s to early 50s to play the role of "Scientist Friend," who the outlet believed would appear in The Marvels . There was a lot of speculation about who this "friend" could be, but it soon fell off the wayside until recently.
