Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  is just over a week away, and fans are on the edge of their seats with anticipation. The upcoming Marvel Studios project is set to take a deep dive into the many realities that make up existence. Alongside Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong's Sorcerer, and Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez will be joining the fray. Sony Pictures has long been hard at work on creating its own interconnected universe. First with  Venom , and then  Venom: Let There Be Carnage ; this weekend, a new anti-hero joins the family: Morbius . Jared Leto perfectly embodies the lead character, bringing to life an intense, touching, and visually entertaining comic book epic. Audiences will no doubt take to the Living Vampire quickly—don't be surprised if Michael Morbius becomes a household name.  If most of what was read in the above paragraph felt incorrect, well, that's because it was. In just a few days, Sony Pictures will be back in action with Jared Leto's Morbius , adding to the expanding narrative in its Spider-Man Universe. The next Disney+ series by Marvel Studios is none other than Moon Knight . The show stars Oscar Isaac’s Steven Grant as he starts to experience troublesome events that begin to make him believe he is going insane; which is understandable. Who wouldn’t think the same when one seemingly develops an alternate persona who goes out in a moon-inspired costume to dole out justice for an Egyptian God? There was a lot to take in for those who watched Spider-Man: No Way Home . For one, villains such as Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock were back on the screen as if they never left. On top of that, both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire put back on their Spidey suits to aide Tom Holland’s webhead. The cherry on top? Charlie Cox’s return as Matt Murdock. The Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe have set the standard for interconnected storytelling with major crossovers from the franchises' biggest heroes. Heavily involved in both franchises is director/producer James Gunn, who will soon have three Guardians of the Galaxy movies under his belt in the MCU. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to feature a new adventure for Chris Hemsworth's Thor, and he will be joined by a slew of new allies this time around. Alongside Hemsworth's MCU comeback, the God of Thunder will team up with Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, Taika Waititi's Korg, and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster in the movie. When Disney's acquisition of Fox was made official nearly three years ago, Marvel Studios came into possession of some of Marvel's most iconic characters. This included the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and everyone's favorite merc with a mouth Deadpool. While fans eagerly await the arrival of the MCU mutants and Fantastic Four, Deadpool sits as a somewhat big question mark for the franchise.  While these other names will likely be recast and get a brand new story,  Deadpool   3  is in pre-production with the team that was behind the first two films under the Fox banner. After the enormous success of the Spider-Man spin-off  Venom  at the box office, many expected Sony Pictures to stick with the same director for the sequel. Although, it was uncertain if director Ruben Fleischer would return until Sony announced that Andy Serkis would direct the sequel and the live-action debut of Carnage. However, Fleischer remained close to Sony, having directed  Uncharted , which, funnily enough, stars Spider-Man actor Tom Holland as Nathan Drake. Having directed both Venom and Uncharted , this would mean Fleischer has had experience working with both Tom Hardy and Tom Holland, who could both inevitably face off in a future sequel as Venom and Spider-Man. Last year's  Eternals  may not have been the most well-received Marvel Studios film of all time, but it wasn't without its achievements. The family of Celestial-born beings has now entered the spotlight alongside some of the biggest superhero groups of all time. They might not be as big as The Avengers, or The Guardians of the Galaxy, but they could easily get there. They'll certainly have competition in the coming years, however. Their ensemble isn't yet a match for the big leagues, like those mutants or Fantastic Four—but obscure characters have taken over the stage before, so the group's time could come. Spider-Man: No Way Home  was a dream come true for all eras of Marvel fans. The movie featured the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective versions of the web-slinger, as well as past villains such as Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx's Electro. Since the film's release, fans have been campaigning for Garfield to make a full-time return to the world of Marvel. Many people have claimed that Garfield has been the best actor to portray the character in live-action to date.
