As Moon Knight  inches closer to its last two episodes, the Marvel series seems poised to deliver a thrilling and intriguing finale. Episode 4 revealed a shocking ending that raised more questions than answers, with Marc Spector being unveiled as a patient inside a mental asylum. Not only that, but Ethan Hawke's Arthur Harrow is his therapist, while May Calamawy's Layla is another patient.  The latest episode's mystery is expected to be answered in one of the final two installments. In keeping with the comics, Marvel Studios' Moon Knight on Disney+ hasn't shied away from highlighting the character of Marc Spector's struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder. In addition to serving as the avatar of the Egyptian mood god, Khonshu, Spector's other personality is that of Steven Grant; and from what fans have seen, the two are likely to discover a third personality before the show concludes. Marvel Studios' Moon Knight quickly approaches the end of its wild run on Disney+, putting Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector into the MCU spotlight for the first time in Phase 4. Moon Knight delivered an in-depth look at the lore of the Egyptian gods of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the third episode giving viewers an understanding of the Ennead, their backstory, and why they chose to abandon humans. During the installment, five avatars of the gods were featured, namely  Horus, Isis, Tefnut, Osiris, and Hathor.  The Ennead was involved in several significant moments in Episode 3. The Oscar Isaac-led show is not only the first Marvel Cinematic Universe project of the new year, but it is also the first time the MCU has introduced a rookie character in their own self-titled streaming series. Ancient Egypt is set to find its way into more than one superhero project in 2022 thanks to Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam from DC and Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight from Marvel Studios. Moon Knight is in the final stages of preparation for its imminent release on Disney+, even boasting a native Egyptian on its staff in director Mohammed Diab.
