After much anticipation, the teaser for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love and Thunder is finally here. The footage showed off Thor in his new duds, the Guardians back in action, Jane Foster’s Thor, and King Valkyrie. There was one big missing element, however: Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher. The big bad of the movie was nowhere to be found, nor any antagonist at all. Some of his handiwork may have made it in, but the Necrosword-wielding foe didn’t even lend as much as a line of dialogue to the trailer. The only proper look that the fans have gotten of the villain to this day comes from some older set photos and newer glimpses of Love and Thunder  merchandise. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to make MCU history by being the first MCU movie to fully tie into a story that originated on Disney+. Thanks to Elizabeth Olsen's leading role as Wanda Maximoff in this movie, fans will get to see what she's been up to since leading the way in WandaVision , Phase 4's first new release last year. Marvel will return to a story across both Earth and space with this summer's Thor: Love and Thunder , the fourth solo outing for Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder. While the leading heroes are sure to venture out to uncharted territories across the galaxy, especially with the Guardians of said galaxy in tow, part of the story will come down to Earth with New Asgard. When fans last saw the former King of Asgard, he had left Earth with the Guardians after Avengers: Endgame  in search of new challenges with the Mad Titan Thanos in his rearview mirror. This included bestowing the title of King of New Asgard upon Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie in one of Endgame 's final scenes, part of her evolution into her expanded role in this year's solo sequel. She-Hulk  is one of the many upcoming projects from Marvel Studios set to hit Disney+. The series is expected to be released in 2022, but new rumors suggest that it could possibly be moved back to 2023. As far as casting goes, Tatiana Maslany will be making her MCU debut as Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, and will be accompanied by MCU veterans Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky. Even though Roth hasn't made nearly as many appearances in the franchise as Ruffalo has, he has still been a part of the MCU since 2008's  The Incredible Hulk . Unlike its potential companion Disney+ series, Secret Invasion , production on  The Marvels  has been kept under wraps, aside from some set photos leaking showing off a new costume for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan. Outside of that costume, fans know little about the Captain Marvel sequel, but there was one small role that potentially leaked.  Last year, One Take News reported that Marvel Studios was looking for an actor in their early 30s to early 50s to play the role of  "Scientist Friend," who the outlet believed would appear in  The Marvels . Even though Marvel Studios is continuously adding new heroes to its roster, that doesn't mean the studio doesn't have plans for its veterans. In addition to OG Avenger Thor getting his fourth film this summer, Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury is confirmed for both the Captain Marvel sequel,  The Marvels , as well as  Secret Invasion  on Disney+. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  is set to introduce a brand-new hero to the MCU in the form of America Chavez. The character will be portrayed by Xochitl Gomez (Netflix's The Baby-Sitters Club ) in the sequel, marking her Marvel debut as a superhero who can create portals into the Multiverse. The exact details of Chavez's role in the movie are still being kept under wraps, but official footage from marketing may have shed some light on the subject.  The teaser trailer initially showed Chavez being chased by Gargantos for unknown reasons, but the attack was thwarted by Strange and Wong. As excitement for the upcoming  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  reaches new heights, fan speculation about potential returning actors/characters grows along with it.
