After multiple delays, Morbius , Sony's latest addition to its Spider-Man Universe, has finally arrived in theaters. Whether fans wish it had is another question. While audiences have their issues with the film's plot and quality, much of the outcry stems from the film's misleading promotional campaign and the use of Michael Keaton's Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming .  Following  Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage , Morbius was intended to be the third installment in Sony's MCU adjacent Spider-Man Universe. Morbius  is finally in theaters after numerous delays, a number of trailers, and more than a few confusing quotes from the film's cast and crew. The movie follows Jared Leto's Michael Morbius, a scientist who, in an attempt to cure his blood disease, infects himself with a form of vampirism. The wait leading up to S pider-Man: No Way Home  was a long one for fans. The rumors about what the film might bring to the table started early once both Jamie Foxx's Electro and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock were confirmed to return to their roles. It felt like a trailer would never come; but then it did. Then came the second trailer a couple of months later, but even that wasn't enough to quench the thirst of audiences worldwide. Featuring a handful of players in the villain department alongside three generations of web-slingers, this threequel became the blockbuster of all blockbusters in 2021. Marvel Studios finished off its 2021 slate on Disney+ with Jeremy Renner's original Avenger in Hawkeye , which debuted to plenty of success. After kicking off its story with a flashback to Avengers Tower during the Battle of New York, the action only continued to pick up for Clint Barton and Kate Bishop with every twist and turn throughout its six episodes. On top of giving Clint Barton his long-awaited first solo story, Hawkeye set the stage for Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop to start her path as a key player in the MCU's future. There was a lot to be excited about while watching Spider-Man: No Way Home .
