At long last, the wait is finally over for the trailer that’s been driving fans crazy. Setting the record for the shortest promotional tour in MCU history, Marvel Studios released the first full look at July’s Thor: Love and Thunder , bringing fans a thunderous glimpse into just what the Asgardian warrior is facing in his fourth solo movie. Even with the trailer being only 89 seconds long, shorter than usual even for a first look, fans saw how wild this new movie will be as it largely featured Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy. The rivalry between two members of the MCU’s Chris trinity continues as Pratt’s Star-Lord brought his sense of humor, all before fans saw Natalie Portman wielding a repaired Mjolnir. Following Sony Pictures’ double dose of success with October’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage and December’s Spider-Man: No Way Home , the studio is looking to build its Spider-verse in a big way. After Morbius ’ release in April, next on the list for Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is Kraven The Hunter , which will bring one of Spidey’s most powerful villains into live-action for the first time. Set for release in January 2023, Kraven the Hunter is still in the early stages of development as part of Sony’s growing superhero movie slate. 2021 helped to put Marvel's Captain America back into the spotlight after Chris Evans' Steve Rogers passed the torch (and vibranium shield) to Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson in 2019's Avengers: Endgame . The title then briefly went to Wyatt Russell's John Walker early in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+ before Sam took the shield back and accepted his responsibility as an Avenger. The big question now is when exactly the characters from the newly titled Captain America and the Winter Soldier will return, as no projects are officially on the Marvel Studios schedule yet.
