While Marvel Studios is preparing for a massive slate of content in 2022, there is still plenty of chatter surrounding the worldwide mega-event that was Spider-Man: No Way Home . Tom Holland's team-up effort alongside past web-slinger stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield became one of the best-reviewed movies in history as it continues its climb deeper into the top 10 box office hits of all-time. Due to Maguire and Garfield's comebacks, fans are crying out for the Spider-Man franchise to continue far beyond the three confirmed solo movies planned out for Holland's MCU hero. Within days of No Way Home debuting in theaters, fan campaigns for both Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Maguire's Spider-Man 4 surfaced online as bellows for both franchise's revivals increased to a fever pitch. January 2022 marks a year since Phase 4 of the MCU kicked off with WandaVision on Disney+. Diving headfirst into streaming after a year with no content was somewhat of a risk, but it wasn't the only one.
