With only a few weeks left until its release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a film about which fans know frighteningly little. While Marvel has released multiple teasers, trailers, and posters for this Multiversal horror flick, the plot of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange 2 and its potential impact on the greater MCU is still a mystery.  What fans do know is that Strange is embarking on a Multiversal adventure where he will encounter multiple Stephen Stranges, and possibly the Illuminati, alongside Rachel McAdam's Christine Palmer, Xochitl Gomez' America Chavez, and Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff.  ADVERTISEMENT Due to the events of WandaVision on Disney+, and from what  Doctor Strange 2  promo spots have revealed, it appears that Wanda is anything but a background character in this upcoming sequel. And, now, in the midst of the film's last marketing push, a new report suggests the Scarlet Witch's on-scr...

How This Compares to Other Marvel Movies

Jared Leto's Morbius  has opened up in theaters to a flood of negative reviews, becoming the third new installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe after Tom Hardy's Venom films. Following two full years of delays to its theatrical release, the film only has a C+ rating on CInemaScore and is currently sitting at a 17% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.  Amongst various, simplistic movie-making issues that critics and fans have with Morbius , Spider-Man fans are also worried about the future of the character, especially after  Spider-Man: No Way Home completed the web-head's first MCU trilogy. It's a mini-miracle that Disney and Sony have been able to play this nice with the characters, but the continual growth of the SSU puts the future into question. ADVERTISEMENT Marvel Studios has a history of producing well-received Marvel films over the past 14 years; the same can't be said for Sony with its Spidey-centric outings. Morbius  isn...

DCEU Actress Compares Justice League's Peacemaker Cameo to Marvel Crossover

The Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe have set the standard for interconnected storytelling with major crossovers from the franchises' biggest heroes. Heavily involved in both franchises is director/producer James Gunn, who will soon have three Guardians of the Galaxy movies under his belt in the MCU. On the Warner Bros. side, Gunn has also led the way on The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker in the last few months. Peacemaker recently ended its first season on HBO Max with a shocking appearance by the Justice League, who showed up for a few seconds just after Peacemaker and his team stopped the butterfly invasion. Body doubles were used for both Superman and Wonder Woman, but fans got an actual interaction between Jason Momoa's Aquaman and Ezra Miller's Flash in this unexpected scene. ADVERTISEMENT Having these stars and characters join the Peacemaker narrative was a major moment for the DCEU, especially in terms of conn...

Moon Knight Star Compares Oscar Isaac’s Performance to Robert Downey Jr's

Image
Robert Downey Jr.: the man who helped launch the MCU empire. Much praise can be heaped upon his iconic portrayal of Tony Stark aka, Iron Man, a role he played over ten times total. And with the character's untimely demise, which was met in 2019's  Avengers: Endgame,  much has been said both in-universe and in the real world regarding who will be the next Iron Man-level superhero to grace the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Enter: Moon Knight. Fan-favorite actor Oscar Isaac is set to take on the role of the lesser-known hero in March's upcoming solo series on Disney+. The part promises to be a juicy one for Isaac, as Moon Knight suffers from dissociative identity disorder, with each of his alter-egos taking on a life of their own. ADVERTISEMENT So far, fans know about the timid Stephen Grant and the gun-for-hire Mark Spector as well as the costumed identities of Moon Knight himself, and the suit-and-tie-clad Mr. Knight, who will surely constitute s...
