Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Partly to Blame for Black Adam Movie Delay

Just a few weeks ago, Warner Bros. completely changed up its upcoming slate of DC Comics projects. Dwayne Johnson's  Black Adam  was shifted into later this year and both  The Flash  and  Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom  were pushed into 2023.  Shazam! Fury of the Gods  got the long end of the stick, and instead of being bumped, was pulled into December of this year. Now, instead of 3-4 more live-action projects for 2022, fans are only looking at two. It's a sad change for many, but on the bright side, at least they didn't all get pushed into next year. But what caused the entire shift in the slate? Marvel & Star Wars Reportedly to Blame for Disney+'s New Ads

In just over two years, Disney+ has become one of the biggest names in the streaming world. The media giant has bolstered a stellar back catalog of movies and TV with new original content by using some of the biggest IP's in the world. Now, the Disney+ formula has not changed all that much since the service launched; however, there have been talks of ads showing up on the streaming platform.  Up to this point, Disney+ has been ad-free with a premium subscription being paid per household to access its content. But news recently came to light that the company was introducing a cheaper, budget-friendly tier to the service that would incorporate mid-program advertising (akin to plans on Hulu).  ADVERTISEMENT With more than 129 million subscribers on Disney+, it makes a lot of sense that brands would want a slice of that pie, no matter how minuscule it may be.
