Marvel Studios is looking to expand the MCU more heavily than ever with its upcoming Disney+ shows, which all started with WandaVision in January 2021. Although that series utilized its own unique style of sitcom-inspired storytelling, it opened the door for the franchise to continue with new adventures via Disney's exclusive streaming service. While other shows like Loki and What If...? are already confirmed to continue into future seasons, that status has always been in question for WandaVision . Marvel fans were gently reminded about Doctor Strange’s origin story in last year’s What If…? . One of its many installments featured a story that saw Benedict Cumberbatch’s sorcerer trying to undo the death of the love of his life: Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer. The story doesn’t have a happy ending, but then again, neither do their romantic entanglements in the MCU. Since the events of Doctor Strange , Benedict Cumberbatch’s titular character left behind his desires for Christine to focus on being the protector of the universe. Netflix's Daredevil  was the most popular Marvel series on the streaming service, but it was ultimately canceled after three seasons. The series followed the story of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock as he tried to protect Hell's Kitchen as the titular hero against Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk a.k.a. Kingpin. Cox is joined by a stellar ensemble that includes Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson.  The series had a successful run from 2015-2018, with the third season closing out Murdock's chapter under the Netflix banner.
