Marvel will return to a story across both Earth and space with this summer's Thor: Love and Thunder , the fourth solo outing for Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder. While the leading heroes are sure to venture out to uncharted territories across the galaxy, especially with the Guardians of said galaxy in tow, part of the story will come down to Earth with New Asgard. When fans last saw the former King of Asgard, he had left Earth with the Guardians after Avengers: Endgame  in search of new challenges with the Mad Titan Thanos in his rearview mirror. This included bestowing the title of King of New Asgard upon Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie in one of Endgame 's final scenes, part of her evolution into her expanded role in this year's solo sequel. While most MCU fans are focusing on May's Doctor Strange 2 , Chris Hemsworth's Thor: Love and Thunder comes to theaters only two months later. Thor 4 will be the first time any hero has gotten a fourth solo movie as Hemsworth teams up with power players like Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster. Now, all fans are waiting for is the start of the movie's promotional tour. Director/writer/actor Taika Waititi is back with Marvel Studios for his second full theatrical movie, which will arrive this July with Chris Hemsworth's Thor: Love and Thunder . The Oscar-winning director is only a few months away from delivering his latest pet project, as Hemsworth takes the God of Thunder on another wild adventure throughout the galaxy. Fans around the world have their sights firmly set on Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness . The film will see Benedict Cumberbatch's titular hero journey across the Multiverse to stop an unknown threat from destroying everything. The next film up on Marvel Studios’ slate is none other than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . The movie will be the Doctor’s first solo outing since his 2016 tale. While Marvel Studios has a massive year of content planned for 2022, 2023 isn't slouching either, even with the schedule not being as full at the moment. Marvel Studios' Eternals continues to make the rounds after its premiere on Disney+ as fans all over the world analyze and enjoy everything that came in the MCU's newest cosmic outing. With  Eternals  having just been released on Disney+, everyone can now watch Chloé Zhao’s addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe across the world. The film introduces a handful of bold new concepts, from the Celestials' history to the titular characters themselves. That's not to mention the set-up of Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman. In fact, the movie opens more doors for the future than most have since  Avengers: Endgame . Eternals  was one of Marvel Studios' big pushes for heroes in 2021, introducing a whole host of new superpowered characters to the MCU. As a result, the film is largely disconnected from other heroes in the universe and only briefly mentions some of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, raising questions about which Avengers and other Marvel characters could cross paths with the race of immortal beings in a potential sequel. An  Eternals   2  is not yet confirmed, with producer Nate Moore saying that a second and third film aren't necessarily guaranteed. Marvel Studios' second film of 2021,  Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , was a definite hit with fans and critics, not to mention the box office. The movie raked in a highly respectable amount considering it dropped in the middle of a pandemic. Featuring a mostly-Asian cast,  Shang-Chi  delivered memorable character work and top-notch martial arts sequences. Based on the film's success, a sequel has been confirmed to be in development with star Simu Liu set to return to the title role of Shang-Chi, or as he's also called in-universe, Shaun.
