अगले कुछ हफ्तों में दुनिया दो ऐसे ग्रहों को देख सकती है, जो कहने के लिए तो ‘सुपर अर्थ' हैं, पर किसी ‘नर्क' से कम नहीं हैं। अंतरिक्ष में तैनात दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा टेलीस्‍कोप- जेम्‍स वेब टेलीस्‍कोप इन ग्रहों को सामने ला सकता है। ये दोनों ‘सुपर अर्थ' हमसे 50 प्रकाश वर्ष दूर हैं। इनमें से एक ग्रह का नाम है ‘55 कैनरी ई' (55 Cancri e)। यह ग्रह अपने सूर्य के इतने करीब से चक्‍कर लगाता है कि इसकी सतह बेहद गर्म है। इतनी गर्म की आप इसे आग का गोला भी समझ सकते हैं।   रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, ‘55 कैनरी ई' अपने तारे से 15 लाख मील से भी कम दूरी पर स्थित है। नासा के मुताबिक, यह दूरी हमारे सूर्य और बुध ग्रह के बीच की दूरी का भी 1/25वां भाग है। इससे ही अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है कि यह ग्रह कितना गर्म होगा। माना जाता है कि यह ग्रह गर्म लावा के सागरों से ढका हुआ है। इसकी सतह का तापमान बेहिसाब हो सकता है, जो बुध ग्रह के तापमान से भी कई गुना ज्‍यादा हो सकता है।  सोचिए अगर पृथ्‍वी अपने सूर्य के इतने करीब होती, जिसमें एक साल का समय कुछ घंटों में ही पूरा हो जाता। इतनी गर्म होती कि महासागर उबल र...

The  Ant-Man and the Wasp  franchise has always been among the smaller corners of the MCU, both figuratively and literally. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly's shrinking adventures have focussed more on the comedic angle, all while telling smaller family-driven stories in the Marvel world. But  Quantumania  looks set to put an end to that as Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror joins in on the fun, bringing with him more consequences for the MCU. The day many DC fans have been waiting for is almost here: the release of  The Batman . The upcoming film will see Robert Pattinson take on the legacy of The Dark Knight as he goes up against Paul Dano's The Riddler, whose crusade against Gotham City's corruption terrorizes the city. Directing is Matt Reeves, who has now been attached since 2017 before the studio even decided who was going to be its Caped Crusader.
