The Marvel Cinematic Universe has an expansive library of content that is anchored by its interconnected storytelling. However, the franchise is no stranger to continuity mistakes and behind-the-scenes blunders over the years. Although the MCU remains the most successful movie franchise in the business these days, the films and TV shows aren't without a mistake or two on the big and small screen. As all eyes look towards the blockbuster releases of Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home and Benedict Cumberbatch's Multiversal Doctor Strange sequel, both massive accomplishments, eagle-eyed fans have taken to social media to point out MCU errors. Cumberbatch's first solo movie included one of these errors, as a car in Hong Kong drove straight through Kaecillius and his henchpeople walking through a portal (they should have been run over instead). At the core of speculation from both before and after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home is Doctor Strange's botched spell. While audiences know it led to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men, along with their slew of web-slinging baddies, coming into the MCU, the question remains as to whether other Multiversal events are to blame? It's been a fun little game for fans to find little goofs in productions by Disney, such as the brief fan-favorite cameo of "Jeans Guy" seen during an episode of The Mandalorian , which was quickly corrected. However, it seems that Marvel fans from Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame  are either far more attentive or Marvel Studios has had a habit of making more mistakes. Some examples include incomplete makeup on Paul Bettany's Vision in WandaVision in a three-second shot, Don Cheadle's War Machine wearing the wrong armor for a split second in Endgame , and a continuity error involving Stark Tower in Hawkeye . Spider-Man: No Way Home  has quickly become one of the most successful films of all time. This isn't all that surprising for several reasons. One, the conversation surrounding the film prior to its release was off the charts; fans practically did Sony's marketing for it. Marvel Studios has long had a tradition of jumping between eras to tell its heroic stories with films taking place in the '90s, World War II, and even recently going as far back as Ancient Egypt with  Eternals . While many fans opt to view the franchise in release order as was originally intended, the chronological viewing order of the MCU is another common option that Disney+ makes easier than ever with its ordered timeline section. Currently, the MCU begins chronologically with  Captain America: The First Avenger  and ends with  Spider-Man: No Way Home  - although  Hawkeye  remains the most recent project available on Disney+ for now.
