It may seem quiet now, but  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  is about to make a lot of noise. The upcoming  Doctor Strange  sequel has been in the works for years at this point, suffering from creative changes behind the scenes as well as multiple delays due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic. To say this film has had a bumpy road to release would be the understatement of the year.  But it seems it may not be smooth sailing from here as many would assume with the film done and ready to hit theater screens. Moon Knight  was cruising along on Disney+ in an archaeological fashion during the first three episodes and most of the fourth. Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector and Steven Grant put their respective skills to use alongside May Calamawy's Layla El-Faouly in an attempt to reach Ammit's tomb before Ethan Hawke's Arthur Harrow. However, after Harrow shockingly shot Marc at the end of the episode, everything changed. Viewers were transported to an asylum where all of the patients and employees were people that had been seen out in public at some point during the first three episodes. Marc was a patient in possession of a Moon Knight doll, and it was then revealed that Harrow was inside the facility as well, only he was not a patient, but rather Marc's doctor. After Groot sacrificed himself at the end of the first film of the franchise, the Guardian of the Galaxy has gone through multiple transformations over the years. Initially, Groot was a full-sized adult in the 2014 MCU film, but his sacrifice meant that he was essentially reborn at the end of the movie, thus leading to the debut of Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 .  Baby Groot had many memorable moments in Vol. 2 , but it was the only movie that this iteration was ever featured in. Cosmo Confirmed for Holiday Special Ahead of the official wrap of  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  and  The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special , director James Gunn shared one of his end of productions gifts with the world on Twitter . Marvel The present in question features eight different Christmas ornaments, spotlighting characters such as Mantis, Drax, Nebula, Groot (who looks to have grown into an older adolescent), Star-Lord, Kraglin, and Rocket. Disney+ has become an essential tool for Marvel fans across the world. For one, it's the medium for Marvel Studios to tell a new plethora of stories, including the currently airing  Moon Knight , and the upcoming  Ms. Marvel . On top of that, the service also serves as a library for all the content released in the past—including those released far before the days of 2008's  Iron Man . For one, all of the previous X-Men projects are ready and waiting for audiences to rematch or discover them for the first time. The MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is filled with many interesting characters, incuding Karen Gillan's Nebula. She was initially introduced as a ruthless assassin since thanks to her upbringing under Thanos alongside Gamora. Since then, Nebula has slowly turned over a new leaf as she becomes an ally to the Guardians during Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame .  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  will showcase Nebula as a full-time member of the team, thus presenting more opportunities to explore the character's dynamic with Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians. Marvel Studios expanded its horizons thanks to its efforts on Disney+ in 2021 and 2022, adding to the MCU's already expansive journey with streaming series like  WandaVision and Loki . Last year, these efforts brought the MCU its first critical awards at the TV level with three wins at the 2022 Emmys for  WandaVision . With so many unique properties coming to Disney+ from Marvel Studios, the team decided that there will be some that only last for one season rather than continuing over the next few years. She-Hulk  is one of the many upcoming projects from Marvel Studios set to hit Disney+. The series is expected to be released in 2022, but new rumors suggest that it could possibly be moved back to 2023. As far as casting goes, Tatiana Maslany will be making her MCU debut as Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, and will be accompanied by MCU veterans Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky. Even though Roth hasn't made nearly as many appearances in the franchise as Ruffalo has, he has still been a part of the MCU since 2008's  The Incredible Hulk . November's  Black Panther: Wakanda Forever  is tasked with the tall order of not just passing the mantle of the title character but also introducing two rookie heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those freshmen are Tenoch Huerta's Namor and Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier  pushed the boundaries of its TV-14 rating for Marvel Studios. The star-spangled series carried the legacy of the Captain America  film franchise through its visceral action, intimate fight sequences, and innovative combat. That innovation was exemplified in the final moments of Episode 4, which featured Wyatt Russell's John Walker using the iconic shield to bludgeon a Flag Smasher. Since the show exists exclusively on Disney+, Marvel Studios has free rein to make retroactive alterations. When Netflix announced that its Marvel series would be leaving the platform in March there was some concern over where they would end up. However, seeing as the distribution rights to the characters of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Punisher reverted back to Marvel in early 2021, it came as no surprise that The Defenders  saga moved over to Disney+. What was surprising were some of the changes Disney made to the Marvel Netflix shows when they arrived at Disney+.  ADVERTISEMENT Having been on Disney+ for a few weeks now, it didn't take long for viewers to spot discrepancies between the shows on Netflix and Disney+.
