Thor: Love and Thunder  released its first trailer recently, and fans are pumped to once again spend time with Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder. Moon Knight is finally out in the world for audiences to see. Reception to the show has been generally positive, and at the very least, it looks like Marvel Studios doesn’t have a flop on its hands. After a long dilemma with Disney that led to a recent stint at DC, James Gunn is coming back to the MCU this year as work gets underway on the long-awaited  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  and accompanying Disney+ holiday special. Filming is currently happening in Atlanta bringing the whole Guardians gang back in action - including Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, Dave Bautista's Drax, and more. Starring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, Marvel Studios announced Echo for Disney's streaming service during 2021's Disney+ Day ahead of the character's debut in Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld's Hawkeye . In the comics, and now in MCU canon, Maya Lopez is a street-level Marvel character with a Native American heritage and ties to Kingpin. She also happens to be a deaf amputee. Marvel Studios closed off 2021 with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye on Disney+, finally giving a solo project to the only member of the original six Avengers who didn't yet have one. Tying back to the events of The Avengers , Avengers: Endgame , and several other classic MCU stories, the Hawkeye series found a way to pay tribute to the character's past while setting up a bright future as well. While the series largely served as Clint Barton's first solo story, these six episodes also gave Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop her first chance to shine in the MCU spotlight. While last year didn’t have much content for DC Comics fans, audiences are eating well in 2022. After the events of The Suicide Squad , the (potentially) former villain has a new lease on life—one that’s almost immediately interrupted by ARGUS, who has a different plan for his future.
