Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  is just weeks away, and much of the movie-going world waits with bated breath for the Multiversal sequel. The  Doctor Strange  follow-up has been six years in the making with comic book movie vet Sam Raimi sitting in the director's chair. Raimi was not always the man behind the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring MCU epic, but after Scott Derrickson left the project, Raimi took over directing duties. Marvel Studios remains tight-lipped as to who or what will be terrorizing Benedict Cumberbatch's magical Avenger this time around, but all signs are pointing towards Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch. Projects like  Loki  and  Spider-Man: No Way Home  may have dipped their toes into the Multiversal waters, but  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  is about to take a full-on plunge into this world of reality-bending storytelling. Among these names, though, is none other than Hollywood veteran Patrick Stewart. Last year held five different Disney+ projects. There was Elizabeth Olsen's  WandaVision , Anthony Mackie's  Falcon and the Winter Soldier , Tom Hiddleston's  Loki , Marvel Studios' first animated venture,  What If...? , and finally Hailee Steinfeld's debut in  Hawkeye . This year promises to bring its own batch of adventures as well; Oscar Isaac's  Moon Knight  will hit the streets, Tatiana Maslanay's Jennifer Walters goes green in  She-Hulk , and Iman Vellani brings  Ms. Marvel  to the world. After educating audiences on the existence of the Multiverse through  Loki and What If...? , the MCU brought a Multiversal tale to the big screen in the record-breaking  Spider-Man: No Way Home ; and while three, live-action Spider-Men was something fans never expected to see, Marvel is just getting started. Recently, fans went a little crazy when they saw Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan wearing a t-shirt with Captain Marvel and Valkyrie on it standing side-by-side. The last and only time Brie Larson's Carol Danvers and Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie were on screen together was during the scene in Avengers: Endgame with (nearly) every female superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fighting off Thanos and his army together.
