Leading into its May 6 release, much of  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness remains a mystery. And what Marvel fans do know has only added to its mystique. For instance, not only is it a sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange,  but  Doctor Strange 2  is also a continuation of  Spider-Man: No Way Home  and directed by Sam Raimi, the director of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy. Of course, this has led to speculation that Marvel Studios may have a Raimi and Maguire reunion in mind. The first Marvel Studios Disney+ series of 2022, Moon Knight , is now halfway through its run, and many seem to be enjoying the journey of Steven Grant and Marc Spector as they navigate Khonshu’s agenda. This year will see the debut of a second Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sure, all eyes may be currently on Marvel Studios' next project,  Moon Knight , but Tatiana Maslany's debut may be one of the biggest and most unique additions to the MCU's Disney+ slate in 2022. Maslany leads the series as Jennifer Walters, who ends up becoming a different version of what her cousin, Bruce Banner is: a Hulk. What makes the character truly unique is how she doesn't lose control of herself, like Mark Ruffalo's former Avenger. She also goes on to try and lead a normal life; raging green frame and all. Recently, it was announced that a fan-favorite Marvel Comics character would finally be getting their own project: Nova . The reports indicated that something is in the works, but whether it was going to be a movie or a Disney+ series remains up in the air. Ever since Tony Stark bit the dust in Avengers: Endgame , fans have been wondering who may be the next to fill the iron-suit-sized hole in the MCU. Of course, the first person that comes to mind is Don Cheadle’s War Machine—but he seems to already have his identity on lock. The answer actually lies in a new upcoming hero: Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams, aka Ironheart. In the comics, Riri is a character who created her own Iron Man suit in her garage, thanks to an old, outdated Stark suit and stolen parts from her college campus. Hawkeye introduced Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop into the larger MCU, joining forces with Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton as they embarked to uncover a conspiracy involving her mother, Eleanor, and Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk a.k.a. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever  is primed to be one of the most crucial projects on Marvel Studios' Phase 4 release slate. Marvel Studios is preparing for a massive year of content in 2022, one which will culminate its theatrical run this November with Ryan Coogler's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever . With Spider-Man: No Way Home closing out the year, fans are already looking forward to next year. While Spidey's adventure may have been the most anticipated MCU outing this year, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever  arguably takes the crown in 2022.
