Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is only two weeks away, which may be hard for many to believe. After all, it feels like it’s been the topic of conversation forever. The project has seen its fair share of turmoil throughout that time, with the main bit being the departure of original Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson back in early 2020. To replace him, Marvel Studios was able to bring aboard the famous Sam Raimi, who is renowned for his work on the first trio of Spider-Man films. With this change of leadership, many thought the creatives behind the project were going to be leaning away from the heavy horror elements that Derrickson wanted to embrace.
