Moon Knight TV Writer Clarifies Confusion About MCU Timeline Placement

Time passes differently in the MCU. Due to Avengers: Endgame' s five-year leap into the future, the MCU timeline has become, well, complicated. To make matters worse, the pandemic reshuffled the release schedule of Marvel's Phase 4 slate, which also included the Black Widow prequel and the Multiversal Loki . Therefore, to learn where the latest film or series, such as Moon Knight , falls on the timeline, fans have had to rely on Disney+. Shortly after the release of Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures'  Spider-Man: No Way Home , Tom Holland made several comments alluding to his time as Peter Parker coming to an end. Holland admitted in an interview that he should maybe move on from the role of Peter Parker so that someone else could play Spider-Man, specifically suggesting the Miles Morales character. However, over recent weeks, it has become apparent that Holland's conflicting comments about returning to the role is him negotiating through the media. Hawkeye  marked the final MCU project of 2021, bringing with it action, heart, and a healthy dose of the holiday spirit. Fleshing out the world of Clint Barton in a post- Avengers: Endgame  world, the series also introduced a new archer to the universe in Kate Bishop.
