Hasbro's Marvel Legends action figure line continues to be popular with fans and collectors alike, with its practical articulation and deep character selection. The line, of course, encompasses several heroes, villains and supporting cast members from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The most recent MCU figures released by Hasbro comprised characters from  Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness  and featured Wong, America Chavez, and the good doctor himself. Additionally, figures based upon  Hawkeye  stood as the only 2021 MCU project to not have a dedicated Marvel Legends release. On the broader Disney+ side of the MCU, Legends actually hasn't put out any figures from the streaming series since Summer, 2021's wave based on  What If...?  Rumors have persisted of a new series of figures based on the characters from Marvel Studios' shows on Disney+, but nothing has gone up for pre-order until now. 2021 was the year of brand new heroes. First, WandaVision came along and introduced the world to Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau before The   Falcon and the Winter Soldier paved the way for a new Falcon in Joaquin Torres. Loki brought both Kid Loki and Sylvie into the picture, and Black Widow invited Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova along for the ride. It wasn’t until Hawkeye , however, that the biggest of the bunch landed: Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. Hawkeye introduced Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop into the larger MCU, joining forces with Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton as they embarked to uncover a conspiracy involving her mother, Eleanor, and Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk a.k.a. Kingpin. The Disney+ series ended with the bow-wielding pair succeeding in their mission, with Kate and Clint going back to the Barton family farm to spend Christmas.  Kate's introduction in Hawkeye fueled theories about a potential Young Avengers team-up down the line. Marvel Studios wrapped up its 2021 streaming run with Disney+'s Hawkeye , a series centered around Jeremy Renner's titular, original Avenger alongside newcomer archer Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. The six-episode-long show not only set up Steinfeld for the long run as the MCU's next resident archer but also added fuel to the canonicity fire by introducing Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin from Netflix's Daredevil into the fold. Hawkeye was heavily inspired by the 2012 comic run of the same name, headed by writer Matt Fraction. Even though Marvel's Hawkeye with Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld concluded on December 22, 2021, fans of the Disney+ series have even more content to look forward to. In addition to Hawkeye 's episode of Marvel Studios: Assembled making its debut on January 19, 2022, recent reports suggest that Clint Barton and Kate Bishop will also be making their Fortnite debut in the near future.  Ever since the 2018 Avengers: Infinity War crossover event, Marvel fans have come to expect playable Fortnite skins inspired by new MCU characters. In 2021 alone, Epic Games and Marvel teamed up for crossovers themed around  Black Widow ,  Loki ,  Shang-Chi , and most recently, Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Zenday's MJ from  Spider-Man: No Way Home.
