The Falcon and the Winter Soldier  pushed the boundaries of its TV-14 rating for Marvel Studios. The star-spangled series carried the legacy of the Captain America  film franchise through its visceral action, intimate fight sequences, and innovative combat. That innovation was exemplified in the final moments of Episode 4, which featured Wyatt Russell's John Walker using the iconic shield to bludgeon a Flag Smasher. Since the show exists exclusively on Disney+, Marvel Studios has free rein to make retroactive alterations. While Marvel Studios has plenty of exciting material to look forward to in the near future, fans have recently looked back to an earlier project in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier . This show returns to prominence due to a strange change in footage that recently went live on Disney+, one which comes alongside recent discussions about censorship from Disney as a whole. Over the last few days, Disney adjusted a couple of moments in Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that were much bloodier and more gruesome in the original cut. Specifically, Dr. Nagel's death removed all the blood from his face and had his eyes closed, while a fight between Bucky Barnes and a bounty hunter was edited to be less gory as well. Disney, its streaming service, and more mature content have been hot topics as of late. Whether it's the new parental controls because of the Netflix Marvel series bringing their TV-MA rating to Disney+, or a darker MCU outing in  Moon Knight  finally seeing the light of day, a contingent of parents is worried about their kids falling into mature content on the largely kid-friendly service. That is not to say the service has lacked any brutal violence or mature themes.
