After Groot sacrificed himself at the end of the first film of the franchise, the Guardian of the Galaxy has gone through multiple transformations over the years. Initially, Groot was a full-sized adult in the 2014 MCU film, but his sacrifice meant that he was essentially reborn at the end of the movie, thus leading to the debut of Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 .  Baby Groot had many memorable moments in Vol. 2 , but it was the only movie that this iteration was ever featured in. Cosmo Confirmed for Holiday Special Ahead of the official wrap of  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  and  The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special , director James Gunn shared one of his end of productions gifts with the world on Twitter . Marvel The present in question features eight different Christmas ornaments, spotlighting characters such as Mantis, Drax, Nebula, Groot (who looks to have grown into an older adolescent), Star-Lord, Kraglin, and Rocket. Also, surprisingly present is Cosmo, the Russian telepathic dog, first seen in 2014's  Guardians of the Galaxy  within the Collector's residence. One of the most successful Marvel Studios Disney+ shows last year was Tom Hiddleston’s Loki . The series saw the God of Mischief arrested by the TVA after diverging from his 2012 Avengers timeline in Endgame . What followed was an absolutely wild ride as he met Variants of himself across the universe—the main one being Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino. Moon Knight has finally arrived on Disney+, allowing fans to dive into the conflicted mind of Oscar Isaac's Steven Grant. The Academy Awards has always had a strange relationship with comic book movies. The likes of Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix have taken home Oscars for their portrayals of the Joker in  The Dark Knight  and  Joker , respectively, but many fans of the fantastic have felt superhero projects are not given fair consideration at these big awards shows. Marvel Studios has sat comfortably at the forefront of Hollywood popularity for over a decade now. With only a few exceptions, most of the MCU's 27 theatrical entries have achieved great financial and critical success, but there's one area they've always struggled with: critical awards. Back in 2015,  Daredevil  opened up a new era for the MCU as marked its first foray into mature content and kickstarted a multi-year and multi-project collaboration between Marvel and Netflix. Marvel Studios is set to explore Halloween like never before by introducing its very own Disney+ special for the spooky season. Although details about the upcoming project are still sparse, some concrete information has slowly made headlines in the past fewmonths. For starters, it is widely rumored to revolve around Jack Russell a.k.a. Now only a few weeks away from its home release, Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: No Way Home is firmly in the public eye, although it's been a constant popular figure for the past couple of years. Throwing Tom Holland into a movie with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and five past villains set the comic book movie world ablaze as the film broke records at every turn. Part of what made No Way Home such a visual spectacle was the movie's costumes paying tribute to all three generations of live-action Spider-Men, along with other similar tributes. One of the more unexpected projects that is due to come from Marvel Studios’ Disney+ offerings is a project based on the supernatural  Werewolf by Night . The character is an obscure one and also comes with several iterations throughout the years. This started with the original in Jacob Russell in 1795, who was bitten by a werewolf in Dracula’s service.  His son, Gregory, went on to inherit the curse in the 1950s thanks to the Darkhold—an object of power that will be seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . A more recent take on the character saw a 17-year old Hopi American named Jake become the titular werewolf when the Life Foundation started experiments on their reservation.
