Disney Reveals New WandaVision Poster for Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch

WandaVision launched the small screen era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+ in 2021, telling the post-Avengers: Endgame story of Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff and, surprisingly, Paul Bettany's Vision. The Marvel series explored a unique format by blending a sitcom format with an emotional narrative centered around grief and mourning.

WandaVision premiered with overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans and critics, and this momentum carried over every week due to the show's consistent presentation of mysterious elements. As a result, fans took to social media to share their different theories about the series, thus fueling online discourse.

In addition to its intriguing narrative, the series also featured a stellar cast that included Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, and the surprise inclusion of Evan Peters as a random Westview resident named Ralph Bohner.

January 15, 2022 was the one-year anniversary of WandaVision, meaning that fans are going all-in to commemorate its memorable debut. Now, as part of its celebration, official artwork for the Marvel series has been unveiled.

WandaVision's Successful Disney+ Run

This official artwork should serve as a fitting reminder of WandaVision's memorable run on Disney+.

Adam Schickling's latest piece highlighted WandaVision's all-star cast while still focusing on Wanda Maximoff's transition into the Scarlet Witch. Although there are notable cast members missing, such as the Maximoff twins, many would agree that this artwork is still a powerful tribute to the Marvel series.

Given that WandaVision was confirmed to be a limited series for Marvel Studios, chances of seeing a second season are slim to none. Still, there are other projects where elements of the show could continue, such as the already-confirmed spinoff of Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness and Wanda's return in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness

Agatha: House of Harkness presents the opportunity to dig deep into story elements first shown in WandaVision, namely the Darkhold, the powerful runes, and Agatha herself. Meanwhile, Wanda's full might as the Scarlet Witch is expected to be unveiled in Multiverse of Madness, thus giving fans a peek at the insane power levels of the character.

All in all, WandaVision's blueprint is poised to be felt even though it has already finished its limited run.

All episodes of WandaVision are now streaming on Disney+.
