Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch Uses Chaos Magic on New Doctor Strange 2 Funko

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is right around the corner, and promotion for the film has finally reached its peak. Fans are seeing new bits of footage almost every week leading up to the film’s May 6 release, and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is being positioned as the most powerful character in the highly anticipated superhero flick.

Fans found out from new promotional footage that Wanda Maximoff will be tearing apart some Ultron bots and blocking a version of Captain Marvel's powers with ease, so she’s clearly going to be a force to be reckoned with in Doctor Strange 2

Audiences that loved WandaVision are sure to show up in droves to see the Scarlet Witch’s story continue in Multiverse of Madness. On top of Wanda's place in promo material, a new toy leak seems to promise that the movie will indeed give the Maximoff twin the attention she deserves.

A leaked image shared by @portalfunko on Instagram has revealed a new Scarlet Witch Funko Pop!, presumably from the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

The new Funko figure displays Scarlet Witch levitating, surrounded by her chaos magic as she wields it with both hands. With her hair and cape both billowing in the wind of her own power, this Pop provides yet another awesome action pose for Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff.

How Many Wanda Pops Can There Be?

Admittedly, yes, this isn’t the first Scarlet Witch Funko Pop to be unveiled in the last year or so—not even close. Despite this, the Pop vinyl production crew still found a great new pose that puts Wanda Maximoff’s Chaos Magic on full display.

Scarlett Witch’s suit seems to be the same getup that was introduced in the finale of WandaVision last year, which points to this figure being included in the Multiverse of Madness Funko lineup, since she'll be appearing in a similar fashion.

Despite her new costume being a huge selling point for the character’s appearance in Multiverse of Madness, fans have only seen a shot or two of Wanda in promotional footage wearing this attire. Even with those couple of quick peeks, they haven’t included a ton of action.

Considering the minimal Scarlet Witch action shown in the trailers, it could be that this Pop was kept from the already-revealed "common" Funko lineup because it’s meant to commemorate an exciting action sequence that Marvel didn’t want to spoil ahead of the film’s release. Oddly enough, this has already happened before, when Wanda Maximoff’s Funko Pop from the final battle in Avengers: Endgame wasn't revealed until more than two years after the movie's release.

Since various retailers such as Walmart and GameStop have already claimed their exclusive stakes in the Multiverse of Madness Funko collection, it’s likely that this Scarlet Witch figure will be exclusive to Funko’s Marvel Collector Corps subscription via Amazon. If that’s the case, then fans can expect to receive the new Wanda Pop in their bi-monthly box when it ships shortly after the film releases in May.

See Scarlet Witch wield her Chaos Magic when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on May 6.
